Western Regional - Working Certificate

Mira ran in her first field event and passed! Woo hoo! The event was the GRCA Working Certificate (WC) held at the GRCA Regional. For more information on the requirements of the WC please look at this page.

The land series was a double in tall grass in one of the back fields at Prado. Mira overran the go bird, but found it with a short hunt. She nailed the memory bird! 9 of 24 dogs were called back for the water series. Mira did excellent here as well. The first bird was at an angle to the shore, and like a good girl she did not square the shore on the return and swam nicely all the way back to me! The second one was straight out and a little to the left. A total of 8 dogs passed the test.
